Android 2.4 will called Ice Cream Sandwich – Andy Rubin. Coming this summer

The Android 2.4 seen on Sony Ericsson Arc recently at CES, though Sony Ericsson said it’s just software corruption issue on the device rather than it actually running Android 2.4. But we believe Android 2.4 is in it’s way. The latest news from TecChurnch, while Reporter Jason Kincaid talking with Andy Rubin he actually mentioned about the next version of Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Google has said they will slowing down the timeline for android and the last Android OS 2.3 Gingerbread was just only a UI change and few tweaks, with the latest Honeycomb OS for Tablet we assume there will be version of optimized Honeycomb for Smartphone which is actually to be released as Android 2.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. Let’s wait for google to confirm Ice Cream Sandwich for this summer.
